Course Details
Fully Residential Shastra studies
Boys* 12 to 16 years old with/without knowledge of Samskritam who have had their Upanayanam are eligible. They will be trained in Samskritam for first few months and will choose between Nyaya Shastra or Vyakarana Shastra for in depth studies.

*Girls 12-16 years old can be admitted if they find their own accomodation nearby.
In addition to Shastra studies, students will be supported in completing their NIOS 10th and 12th standard studies and undergraduate degree studies also. They will be equipped with English/Mathematics/Computer Science subjects.
After completing Shastra studies, they can

pursue a career in Shastras itself (or)

take up regular university studies like B.Sc. Vedic Sciences at MIT Pune, B.A./M.A./Ph.D in Sanskrit/Shastras in 10+ Sanskrit universities, allied courses in IKS-oriented universities like Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth, Chanakya University.

some can even take up online Data Science degrees, BBA/BCA/BCom in Amrita University.
As NIOS is accepted in all universities, with some support and good planning, students can take up many degrees. With active colloboration between parents and Gurukulam, this can be enabled.
Online studies in Nyaya/Vedanta/Vyakarana Shastras

Men/women of all ages are eligible. Ability to speak fluently in Samskritam is a must before joining the program.
Both Nyaya and Vedanta students will start with the same Nyaya classes till Muktavali is completed. After that, Vedanta students can continue onto Vedanta and Nyaya students can continue with Nyaya.
Classes will be for 1 hour duration everyday except on anadyayana (non-study) days.
Nyaya Shastra studies
Nyaya is also called Tarka-sastra and it has been handed to us by the tapas of Gautama muni. Reasoning and logic has a major place in Nyaya.
Typically, this takes 6-7 years of study. Students can also do it in lesser time based on their dedication and efforts – there are students who have done it in 3-4 years too.
A 14 semester syllabus has been outlined as part of Tenali pareeksha. Syllabus includes - Tarka-Sangraha-Dipika, Muktavali, Dinakari, Pancha Lakshani, Siddhantha-Lakshanam, Nyaya Kusumanjali, Nyaya Bhashyam etc.
Vyakarana Shastra studies
Vyakarana or grammar is the "mukha" or mouth of the Vedapurusa. Vyakarana deals with the analysis and decomposition of words, word formation, root words and complex sentence structures, leading to a mastery of the language.
Typically, this takes 6-7 years of study. Students can also do it in lesser time based on their dedication and efforts - there are students who have done it in 3-4 years also.
A 15 semester syllabus has been outlined as part of Tenali pareeksha. Syllabus includes - Tarka-Sangraha-Dipika, Muktavali, Ashtadhyayi Kantha Pata, Siddhantha Kaumudi, Paribhashendushekara, Prauda-manorama, Laghu-shabdendushekara, Patanjali Mahabhashyam, Laghu-majusha etc.
Vedanta Shastra studies
Vedanta deals with study of Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, Brahma Sutras and related texts in detail.
Typically, this takes 6-7 years of study. Students can also do it in lesser time based on their dedication and efforts - there are students who have done it in 3-4 years too.

Syllabus includes - Tarka-Sangraha-Dipika, Muktavali, Vedanta Paribhasha, Ishadi panchopanishad with Bhashyam, Mandukya, Taittreya, Aitreya Upanishad with Bhashyam, Chandogya, Brihadarnyaka Upanishads with Bhasyam, Bhavagad Gita with Bhasyam, Brahma Sutras with Bhasyam, Advaita Siddhi, Bhamati etc.
